AI Fest: Choose Your Own Adventure

Since the launch of generative AI, the workplace as we know it has been changed forever. To stay ahead of the curve, Jack Morton decided to host an in-depth employee training program that encouraged strategic adoption of the AI platforms best suited to our business. As a writer who actively uses AI as my grammar buddy and personal sounding board, my team and I were challenged to use AI across the entire creation of this case study.

Challenge accepted!

Aside from the AI use as detailed below, I also selected the music, curated a selection of news content and identified the best datapoints to help tell our story.

The method

Writing: This was my first attempt using ChatGPT to draft a video script. I found the prompting a bit difficult this time given the pure volume of information I needed to import, but I used it up to the V2 edit. After that, I had to personally edit the script to add more emotional depth.

Voiceover/Avatar: My team used Synthesia for the first time and chose a voiceover avatar that our company already had in circulation. After some dabbling, we figured out the right balance between real world editing and AI video content.

Background graphic: MidJourney is a tool my team is very familiar with, but I encouraged my designer to create a background that aligned with the bubble graphic design seen in the AI Fest logo.
